Moorpark Music Staff
As the state/school district budget only provides funding for one music teacher, like so many endangered music programs, we need to fundraise in order to exist. We are extremely grateful to have the Moorpark Instrumental Music Boosters support in raising funds, which allows us to provide the additional staff required to offer a comprehensive music program. Our talented and dedicated professional staff teach with passion, challenging our students musically, artistically and emotionally, and supporting each student to reach their full potential.

Bri graduated from Buena High School in 2016 and is currently attending UC Santa Barbara. Her guard experience includes Icon Winterguard 2017 (Independent A), Imbue Winterguard 2018 (Independent World), and Blue Devils 2018. She's currently teaching at Moorpark High School, San Marcos High School, and Buena High School.

Marco Lopez
Marco Lopez is a trumpet player, educator, composer, and pianist from CSU Northridge’s Jazz Program, under the tutelage of Howie Shear, Gary Pratt, Gary Fukushima, and Matt Harris. Marco has performed with artists such as KIA, Anthony Strong, Myles Martin, Jermaine Paul, and Adam Hersh.
Marco is dedicated to growing the Moorpark High School jazz program by creating spaces for students to play, as well as inviting major artists to play and educate the young players at the school.
